Invoicing
Invoice from CommTrak, straight into Xero or MYOB
The work is already recorded in CommTrak. Invoicing from somewhere else means keying it twice, and reconciling the differences later. So invoice from here instead.
What it does
Bill the work where the work already lives
Raise invoices against the job, project, ticket, contract or inventory order they belong to — then push them through to your accounting system.
Create it from the record
Raise the invoice against the work that generated the charge, so what you bill matches what you delivered.
Sent via Xero or MYOB
The invoice goes out to the customer through your Xero or MYOB integration — no re-keying it into the accounting system afterwards.
View invoices in CommTrak
Invoices are visible inside CommTrak against the customer, so the people doing the work can see the billing position without an accounts login.
Invoice the customer, a partner, or a different account
You can choose who should be invoiced for work and inventory tracked in CommTrak — the customer, a partner, or an entirely different customer record.
Invoices directed to a partner appear against that partner in the Productivity Report, with the original customer shown in brackets, so you keep both views: who the work was for, and who paid for it.
The Invoice To option is available in Leads, Projects, Jobs, Tickets, Workflows and Inventory Orders.
How the Xero integration and the MYOB integration work
Both work the same way. You raise the invoice in CommTrak against the job, project, ticket or contract that generated it, and it reaches the customer through whichever accounting package you already run — no re-keying, no separate invoicing step at month end.
Most invoicing disputes come down to a mismatch between what was done and what was billed. When the invoice is raised from the job record itself, that gap closes. And because your accounts team is no longer transcribing operations data by hand, it stops being a source of errors in its own right.
